SINGAPORE: Over 100 Indonesian brands and creators from the fashion, design, architecture, art, music, culinary, and hospitality sectors showcased their works at MASA Singapore 2026, A Sight Into Indonesia's Golden Era. PT Astra International Tbk (Astra) supported the event as part of its ongoing commitment to advancing Indonesia's creative economy.

The opening of MASA Singapore 2026 was attended by Deputy Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Irene Umar, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia to Singapore H.E. Hotmangaradja Pandjaitan, MASA Executive Director Heliandi Fajar Saputra, MASA Impact Advisor Tiara Josodirjo, Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto, as well as partners, creative industry professionals, and guests from both countries.

"We appreciate Astra's support for MASA Singapore 2026 as an effort to introduce Indonesian creativity to the world. The advancement of Indonesia's creative industry requires close collaboration between the government, businesses, communities, and various stakeholders to create a sustainable impact for society," said Deputy Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia Irene Umar.

"This moment is more than the opening of an exhibition. It reflects Astra's commitment to being an asset to the nation, in line with the philosophy of Catur Dharma. By collaborating with stakeholders, Astra continues to create value for society. We hope MASA will strengthen Indonesia's creative industry, expand opportunities for creative businesses, and showcase Indonesia's potential internationally," said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

At MASA Singapore 2026, Astra showcased products from Desa Sejahtera Astra Sumba Timur, East Nusa Tenggara, and small and medium enterprises supported by Yayasan Astra-Yayasan Dharma Bhakti Astra. Highlights included traditional Sumba woven fabrics made by women weavers from Desa Sejahtera Astra Sumba Timur, as well as collaborative works by Astra, D'apoza, and Sepiring Indonesia that celebrate Indonesia's creativity and cultural heritage.

Astra also presented documentation of community empowerment programs implemented across Indonesia. These initiatives demonstrate Astra's commitment to empowering communities, strengthening the creative industry ecosystem, and expanding opportunities for Indonesian products in international markets.

These products and works were featured at MASA Singapore 2026, held at Takashimaya Shopping Centre in Singapore from 2 to 5 July 2026. The series continues with the Indonesia-Singapore Orchid Extravaganza at Gardens by the Bay from 4 July to 10 August 2026.

To date, Astra has supported over 1,500 Desa Sejahtera Astra sites across Indonesia. The program helps communities develop regional strengths in health, education, environment, and entrepreneurship.

A total of 492 Desa Sejahtera Astra sites have engaged in export activities, with a cumulative export value of IDR 411.7 billion. Exported products include agricultural and plantation commodities, processed foods, handicrafts, fashion, and other items rooted in local culture and potential.

Astra's commitment to supporting creativity, empowering communities, and expanding market access for Indonesian products aligns with its aspiration to prosper with the nation and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Indonesia.
