JAKARTA: Astra remains committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace by supporting women's leadership development across the Astra Group.

One of these initiatives was realized through Astra Women Network 2026 with the theme “Women Empowered: From Empowerment to Impact,” which took place at Menara Astra, Jakarta, on Tuesday (12/5).

The theme highlights Astra's belief that women's empowerment should lead to meaningful contributions and positive impacts on communities, companies, and the nation.

Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti, Astra Director Gita Tiffani Boer, and other Astra Group executives attended the event, encouraging Indonesian women to empower themselves and make a positive impact.

“I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to Astra through Astra Women Network 2026, which consistently provides a space for collaboration, learning, and strengthening the capabilities of Indonesian women. This initiative shows that women's empowerment is no longer merely a social agenda, but has become an important part of human resource development strategies and the sustainability of the nation,” said Deputy Minister of Public Works Diana Kusumastuti.

“Astra is committed to continuously encouraging the creation of a more inclusive environment and opening wider opportunities for women to play active roles and contribute optimally within the organization. Through Astra Women Network, we hope more Astra Women will continue to grow and make positive contributions to communities, companies, and the nation,” said Astra Director Gita Tiffani Boer.

The event featured speakers such as Grab Indonesia CEO Neneng Goenadi and Perempuan Astra Chairwoman and AstraPay CEO Rina Apriana, who shared insights to inspire Astra Women to grow, take on leadership roles, and create positive change.

Since 2025, Perempuan Astra has implemented various women's leadership strengthening programs through mentoring and learning activities involving participants from companies across the Astra Group, including in-class training sessions, one-on-one mentoring, and group mentoring focused on strengthening women's leadership capabilities, as well as other development initiatives through diversity and inclusion programs. By 2025, women held 20.33% of supervisor-level and above positions, and 33 women served as Directors, representing 17.37% of board positions.

Perempuan Astra has also engaged in social initiatives, including National Children's Day collaborations with the Indonesian Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, mangrove planting at Desa Sejahtera Astra Pulau Pramuka, participation in Astra Environmental Workshops at Desa Sejahtera Astra Cidadap Padalarang, social activities with child cancer survivors, and teaching activities at schools supported by the Astra Foundation and Desa Sejahtera Astra East Sumba.

The Perempuan Astra community aims to foster collaboration, inspiration, and support among women across the Astra Group while contributing positively to society.
