










Astra Employee joined the inauguration of the Astra Go Walking community at Menara Astra, Jakarta, on Sunday (19/4). This 4.8-kilometer group walk marked the launch of an initiative to promote healthy living and strengthen unity among Astra Employee.
JAKARTA: Astra promotes a healthy workplace lifestyle through initiatives involving Astra Employee. The launch of the Astra Go Walking community provides a platform to encourage walking as part of daily routines.
The Astra Go Walking inauguration took place on Sunday (19/4) during Jakarta’s Car Free Day. More than 100 Astra Employee, including Advisors, Supervisors, Management, and employees from various Astra Group entities, participated. The 4.8-kilometer walk from Menara Astra to Semanggi and back marked the start of a collective effort to foster a healthy lifestyle within the Astra Group.
“Astra Go Walking is expected to serve as a platform that encourages physical activity and strengthens interaction and unity among Astra Employee. Through group walks, health education, and collaborative initiatives, the community aims to deliver lasting benefits. We hope Astra Go Walking will continue to grow as an active and consistent force in promoting a healthy lifestyle and supporting Astra’s efforts to create a productive and harmonious work environment for all Astra Employee,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.
The Astra Go Walking community was established to promote a healthy lifestyle that is accessible to all. Walking, an activity suitable for everyone and easily incorporated into daily routines, serves as the foundation for encouraging active habits within the Astra Group. The initiative is supported by Astra Employee, a consortium of companies, resulting in a management structure based on cross-entity collaboration. This community complements other Astra Group sports communities, such as Astra Runners.
At the inauguration, Astra Go Walking introduced its visual identity with a logo representing unity, movement, and shared purpose, reflecting the spirit of togetherness in action.
Collaboration within the Astra Group is evident in Astra Go Walking activities, supported by several healthcare-related entities. At the event, Heartology delivered a health talk on the benefits of walking, Halodoc provided medical check-ups, Asuransi Astra offered personal accident protection, and Senantiasa Makmur, a subsidiary of Astra Otoparts, provided BMI check services.
Astra’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle through Astra Go Walking aligns with its aspiration of “Prosperity with the Nation” and supports Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
