Maintaining Momentum, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Indonesia Claims Another RC2 Class Victory at the 2026 National Sprint Rally Championship Series 2

Jakarta (8/6) — Following a strong performance at the National Rally season opener in Kalimantan this May, TOYOTA GAZOO Racing Indonesia (TGRI) driver Ryan Nirwan and navigator Adi Indiarto secured another first-place finish in the RC2 Class at the 2026 National Sprint Rally Championship Series 2. The event took place at POJ City Circuit in Semarang on June 6 and 7.

TAM Recognizes TGRI's Consistency and Championship Potential

POJ City Circuit in Semarang Presents a Challenging 4.6 Km Gravel Track

Located in the Marina Beach area of Semarang, POJ City Circuit made its motorsport debut last year.

The 4.6 km gravel circuit, with a width of 6 to 10 meters, presented a challenging mix of straights and winding turns. Competitors navigated four stages over two race days on this demanding terrain.

TGRI Dominates from the Very First Special Stage

Ryan and Adi started strong, embracing a Pushing The Limit for The Better mindset from the first special stage (SS 1) on Saturday, June 6. With minimal issues, they posted a time of 4:05.4 to claim the fastest time in RC2 Class. They sharpened their pace further in SS 2, recording 4:01.5.

Continuing their consistent performance, the duo recorded 4:06.8 in SS 3 on Sunday, June 7. TGRI finished SS 4 with a time of 4:01.1. Their combined total of 16:14.8 secured the RC2 Class title, finishing about 7.2 seconds ahead of the nearest competitor.

"We're very satisfied with the GR Yaris Rally2's performance and its adaptability to the track conditions. We also appreciate the TGRI engineering team for maintaining peak performance throughout the 2-day competition.
