
PT Astra International Tbk collaborates with the annual creative festival the 2018 IdeaFest. Today (26/10) the event is officially performed and opened by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo together with the Minister of the State Secretary Pratikno, and the Chairman of Creative Economy Board (Bekraf) Triawan Munaf in Jakarta Convention Center. Promoting a theme of “C” that can represent many things in the advancement of Indonesia’s creative industry, the 2018 IdeaFest gathers cross-industry creative profiles on the national and international scale by presenting more than 102 sessions with inspirational figures.
A few of the inspirational young people are the awardee of the 2010 SATU Indonesia Awards Amilia Agustin (the Initiator of Go To Zero-Waste School, Bandung, West Java), the awardee of the 2014 SATU Indonesia Awards Irwan Bajang (the Initiator of Indie Book Corner, Sleman, Central Java), accompanied by Head of Corporate Communications of PT Astra International Tbk as well as judge of the 2018 SATU Indonesia Awards Boy Kelana Soebroto, being moderated by an public figure and entrepreneur Dian Sastrowardoyo in an inspirational talk show with a theme of Light of Hope for Indonesia: Inspiring Community, Empowering Change.
“Do It Now, Do Not Make Excueses”
Since 2010 when Amilia received the SATU Indonesia Awards in environment field from PT Astra International Tbk until now, Ami keeps showing her perseverance in every activity she does. Since in the first grade of junior high school until graduated from the university, there has not been any giving up in contributing positively to the surroundings. “When you have ideas and passion, do not wait for tomorrow and do not make excuses,” said the awardee of 2010 SATU Indonesia Awards in today’s inspirational talk show (26/10).
“Collaboration in Spreading the Writing Virus”
As the awardee of the 2014 SATU Indonesia Awards, Irwan gives contribution to the world of writing through the provision of reading park and script-writing class. The class is directly able to gives suggestions to the young writers to get motivation and good results in writing seen from many angles of different people. “Collaboration is needed to accelerate the loving virus to writing world in Indonesia,” said the awardee of the 2014 SATU Indonesia Awards in today’s inspirational talk show (26/10).
