Jakarta: Education is one of the pillars in the global development that promotes welfare for all by 2030 through the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
To realize it, collaborations between the government and various parties, on top of the role of teachers and students in advancing education in Indonesia, are necessary.
In commemoration of the National Education Day, Astra held the virtual 2021Astra Education Festival today (4/5) with the theme Transforming Education to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals. The festival was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia and the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency of the Republic of Indonesia.

“We need an appropriate strategy and actions with corporations to advance education in Indonesia. I am grateful to all those participating in the 2021 Astra Education Festival, which coincided with the National Education Day,” said Minister Suharso in his opening address.
