Astra and RAN Collaboration Releases Theme Song ‘Always Together’ to Welcome Astra’s 65th Anniversary

JAKARTA: To welcome Astra’s 65th anniversary, Astra conveys a message of “The Spirit of Moving and Growing Together” through cross-sector collaborations, one of which is with an Indonesian band, RAN. The collaboration with the music group produces a theme song for Astra’s 65th Anniversary titled ‘Selalu Bersama’ (‘Always Together’).

The song created by Astra with musicians Rayi Putra, Asta Andoko, and Nino Kayam (RAN) tells the story of Astra’s long journey of growing together with the people and the nation of Indonesia through time and situations, which is similar to the story of RAN’s journey together as a band over the last 15 years.

“For more than six decades, Astra company in Indonesia has always been moving together with people across generations to inspire, create innovation, and contribute to advancing the nation. Collaboration with RAN in bringing the message ‘Always Together’ shows Astra’s commitment to adapt to continue to grow together and share our passion with the community in facing future changes and challenges,” said Astra’s Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.

“To celebrate the 65th Anniversary, Astra will present virtual events and virtual exhibitions for Astra People and the public through the digital platform 65tahunastra.jagat.live from February 22-26, 2022. There will also be virtual movements involving all society and a series of events with various themes held throughout the year,” said Astra’s Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development and Chairman of Astra’s 65th Anniversary Committee Aloysius Budi Santoso.

“‘Selalu Bersama’ is a song we created especially for Astra and music lovers to give a sense of enthusiasm and optimism in facing and preparing for the future,” said the band RAN in a virtual press conference today (2/17).

The ‘Selalu Bersama’ music video will be released on Monday, February 21, 2022, on SATU Indonesia YouTube channel, RANforyourlife YouTube channel, Vidio.com, and 65tahunastra.jagat.live.

Astra’s 65th Anniversary Celebration

Astra invites the wider community to watch inspiring webinars on managing innovative and sustainable solutions with leading speakers who are experts in their fields, including the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia Nadiem Makarim, Co-Founder and COO of Ruangguru Iman Usman, and Co-Founder & Chief Growth Officer of Nafas Piotr Jakubowski, through the virtual InnovNation event. The public can also learn and implement knowledge from experts in their respective fields through the virtual Experiential Learning event.

There will also be virtual exhibitions that display Astra Group’s product installations, innovations, and sustainability showcases.

In line with the theme of Astra’s 65th Anniversary, throughout this year, Astra invites people of Indonesia to move and grow together through the #SemangatSalingBantu movement to create positive contributions for today and the future.

An example of the activity in the movement is inviting people to save on water and energy in their activities, to sort waste, to reduce consumption of single-use plastics, to grow and care for plants, and to implement a healthy lifestyle. Astra will convert every text, photo, or video message uploaded to social media with the hashtag #SemangatSalingBantu into a #SemangatSalingBantu care package for communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
