2015 Astra Photo Competition: Explore the Nation, Enjoy the Charm of Indonesia

JAKARTA: In line with the spirit of Astra’s Unified Spirit for Indonesia (Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk Indonesia/SATU Indonesia), PT Astra International Tbk invites all levels of society to increase the love to the nation through Astra Photo Competition (Lomba Foto Astra/LFA). In its sixth run, LFA set “Explore the Charm of Indonesia” as the theme. The registration opens from 15 April 2015 to 31 July 2015.

Photography enthusiasts can participate online through LFA microsite which can be accessed at www.satu-indonesia.com. Each participant is allowed to upload as many photos as possible and choose a maximum of five photographs to be included in the competition. The number of photos listed in the 2014 LFA reached more than 20,000 photographs from 9,000 registrants, which 18,169 photos came from the 8,501 participants in the general category and 1,867 photos were sent from 557 journalists from all over Indonesia. The 2015 LFA theme that raised the natural beauty of Indonesia is expected to encourage more people to perpetuate Indonesian nature as well as to raise the awareness to take care for, maintain, and preserve it for the next generations.

LFA is open to all Indonesian citizens, photography enthusiasts from professionals and amateurs, general public, and journalists. The registered photos for the competition must be the original works and have never been published by other mass media in any form, and have never been won any similar competition. The submitted photos should not contain elements of violence, politics, pornography, insults or harassment to SARA issues (ethnicity, religion, race, and inter-group relations), and other personal background.

Attractive Prizes

The current LFA is enlivened by many attractive prizes. The grand prize is Honda Vario 150 eSP Exclusive for the first winner in general public and journalist categories, followed by other prizes of Apple Macbook Air 13”, GoPro HERO4 Silver, Parrot Drone 2.0 and Nikon Coolpix AW120.
