










The Astra Photo Competition & Astra Journalist Award 2025 officially returns from June 18 to November 18, 2025, with the theme “Satukan Gerak, Terus Berdampak” open to journalists and the general public.
JAKARTA: Astra is once again hosting the Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award for 2025. The registration period officially opens today, June 18, and will run through November 18, 2025. With the theme “Uniting Efforts, Creating Impact”, this year’s competitions invite the public to submit works that embody the spirit of collaboration and sustained contribution to Indonesia.
Now in its 17th year, the Astra Photo Competition—and the Astra Journalism Award, now in its 11th—are open for the 2025 edition to two categories: journalists and the general public, allowing broader community involvement in the program.
“Astra invites photography and writing enthusiasts to take part in the 2025 Astra Photo Competition and Astra Journalism Award. We believe that each creation holds the potential to inspire transformation and strengthen our collective resolve in driving positive change for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.
Entries for the photo competition may include images that portray real-life community activities or objects that represent efforts to create a positive impact across Indonesia. Meanwhile, articles submitted to the journalism award may highlight inspirational stories about Astra’s contributions, such as those carried out by recipients of the SATU Indonesia Awards, champions of Desa Sejahtera Astra, Kampung Berseri Astra, and other programs under Astra Foundations, to rural development throughout the country.
