JAKARTA: The Bundaran HI Astra TransJakarta Bus Stop boasts a new look with illustrations by a young artist from Bali, Yessiow. The creative work, which has been on display since last October, tells the story of “Astra for Today and the Future of Indonesia”. This collaboration between Astra and Yessiow signifies Astra’s tangible commitment to fostering Indonesia’s creative industry.
This commitment is further demonstrated through Astra’s collaboration with the music group RAN to organize a surprise live session titled “Reigniting Your Spirit with RAN” at the Bundaran HI Astra TransJakarta Bus Stop in the heart of Indonesia’s capital city today (12/3).
Today’s surprise from RAN, part of the lead-up to “RAN the Sweet Seventeen” event, was met with great excitement from the public. Jakarta residents participating in Car Free Day were invited to enjoy the acoustic rendition of the band’s hit songs, adding to the joy and positive energy to reignite the spirit. This performance was broadcast live on videotrons in Bundaran HI and Ratu Plaza Jakarta, as well as the SATU Indonesia YouTube Channel.
This is the second time Astra has collaborated with RAN. Previously, they worked together on a theme song and music video for Astra’s 65th anniversary titled “Always Together” (“Selalu Bersama”) in 2022.
Astra’s dedication to fostering the growth of Indonesia’s creative industry and reigniting people’s spirit for Indonesia’s present and future is in line with Astra’s mission to Prosper with the Nation while supporting Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
