JAKARTA: Sixty-nine years is not merely a measure of time, but a story of millions of steps that have grown together with the nation. For nearly seven decades, Astra has continuously contributed to the country through business diversification, the implementation of good corporate governance, and sustainable social contributions to the community.

Entering its 69th year, Astra stands as a company with seven business lines, more than 300 subsidiaries, and over 190,000 employees across Indonesia. Behind these numbers lies the dedication of Astra People, who apply the Catur Dharma values at every step, consistently striving to maintain values, trust, and commitment to provide broader benefits to the nation.

"The celebration of Astra’s 69th anniversary marks a transition phase toward the next important milestone, which is 70 years of Astra’s journey. This momentum reminds us of the meaning behind Astra’s 70-year journey, while preparing us to continue contributing for the long term," said Astra President Director Djony Bunarto Tjondro in his remarks during the celebration of Astra’s 69th anniversary with Astra People.

As part of the series of events celebrating Astra’s 69th anniversary today (20/2), the Astra Awards 2026 were also held. This award is presented to Astra Group companies that demonstrate the best performance in the 3W concept (Winning Concept, Winning System, and Winning Team) throughout 2025. The Astra Awards reflect Astra’s performance culture, which encourages continuous improvement, collaboration, and the strengthening of people and systems within the Astra Group. In addition, Service Awards were also presented to Astra People who have reached 10, 20, 25, and 30 years of service within the company.

World's Best Companies Asia-Pacific 2026

Along with celebrating its 69th anniversary, Astra once again received international recognition by being included in the TIME Best Companies Asia-Pacific 2026 list, released by TIME Magazine in collaboration with Statista. The assessment was based on three main metrics: employee satisfaction, financial performance, and sustainability transparency (ESG).

In the employee satisfaction survey category, Astra ranked first among Indonesian companies included in the list. This recognition reflects Astra’s consistency in maintaining performance quality and its commitment to sustainability, while also serving as motivation to continue delivering meaningful contributions to Indonesia.

Astra’s spirit of contributing to the nation, both for today and for Indonesia’s future, aligns with Astra’s aspiration to Prosper Together with the Nation and support Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
