Astranauts 2024: Seeking Digital and Technology Innovation for Today and the Future of Indonesia

JAKARTA: Astranauts returns for its third year with Astranauts 2024 “Technology Innovation for Today and The Future of Indonesia”. Astranauts is Astra’s digital innovation competition and technology conference for startups and students, aimed at finding innovative solutions to strengthen Indonesia’s digital and technology ecosystem.

The Astranauts 2024 competition encompasses eight key topics: Smart Automotive & Manufacturing, Smart Financial Services, Smart Mining & Energy, Smart Agriculture, Smart Mobility & Logistics, Smart Infrastructure & Property, Smart Technology, and Smart Healthcare. Registration is open from March 14 to April 28, 2024, via the website www.astradigital.id/astranauts.

“Astranauts 2024 looks forward to innovative, sustainable digital and technology solutions for businesses and the environment to be showcased in the competition. We hope this competition encourages participants to present the best solutions that will strengthen the digital and technology ecosystem that benefits many for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Group Digital Strategy Paul Soegianto.

The Astranauts 2024 competition is open to startups and students. Startups must already have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Product Traction. Meanwhile, students must be currently enrolled in a diploma (D3/D4), bachelor’s, or master’s program.

Participants can choose between the Innovation Competition and Business Challenge tracks. In the Innovation Competition track, participants can submit ideas or existing products or propose new innovative ideas relevant to the competition topics. Meanwhile, the Business Challenge track requires participants to present the best solution to a real-world case provided by Astra.

Winners of Astranauts 2024 will receive cash prizes totaling hundreds of millions of rupiah, opportunities to collaborate with Astra Group, exclusive mentorship from industry leaders and experts, and the chance to pitch to Astranauts 2024 venture capital partners.

A Technology Conference will be held as part of Astranauts 2024, featuring discussions on current digital and technology topics led by industry leaders and experts. The conference will take place on June 6, 2024, followed by the announcement of the Astranauts 2024 winners at the Demo Day event on June 7, 2024.
