










JAKARTA: To strengthen gender-focused diversity and inclusion, Astra hosted the Astra Young Women Network 2024 event on Monday, September 30. This event, in alignment with Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations, was held for the fifth time and is part of Astra’s broader initiative to create a diverse, inclusive workplace that attracts and retains Indonesia’s top talent, enabling Astra employees to grow, succeed, and prosper with the nation.
This year’s Astra Young Women Network 2024, attended by over 300 female Astra managerial-level leaders, was opened with speeches from Indonesian Minister of Women’s Empowerment and Child Protection Bintang Puspayoga and Astra Director Gita Tiffani Boer. The event featured a talk show with the theme “Lead Change, Ready to Transform”, which focused on the role of women in leading organizational transformation.
Speakers in the talk show included female leaders such as UN Women Indonesia Head of Programmes Dwi Yuliawati Faiz, Citibank N.A. Indonesia Director & Country Head of Corporate Affairs Puni Ayu Anjungsari, and Astra Property President Director Nilawati Irjani. A sharing session was also held, featuring professional MC, independent trainer, and entrepreneur Becky Tumewu, who shared her experiences.

The Astra Young Women Network 2024 also features the Ilustrasiana 2 exhibition, a collaboration with Kompas Gramedia through Galeri Astra and Bentara Budaya. The exhibition, themed “Peace in Diversity”, showcases works by national and international artists. It opened on September 30, 2024, and will run until October 6, 2024, at Menara Astra.
