JAKARTA: In celebration of National Children’s Day, Astra joined forces with Indonesia’s Ministry of Women Empowerment and Child Protection and the Indonesian Association of Child-Friendly Companies today, July 26, to hold an Educational Workshop titled “The Adventures of Resilient Children: Ready to Protect Themselves, Brave to Achieve Their Dreams.” This title aligns with the 2025 National Children’s Day theme: “Great Children, Strong Indonesia Towards Golden Indonesia 2045”.

The event was attended by Minister of Women Empowerment and Child Protection Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, Astra representatives, and around 200 elementary school children participating in the workshop. Participants came from diverse backgrounds, including children with disabilities and those needing special health and social support.

“I appreciate Astra’s support for today’s event. We hope this initiative leaves a meaningful impression on children and contributes to shaping a great, strong, and high-quality generation in our journey toward Golden Indonesia 2045,” said Minister Arifatul Choiri Fauzi.

“With this program, Astra strengthens its commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in building a child-friendly Indonesia. The educational workshop serves as a learning opportunity and a real example of collaboration between the business world and the government in creating safe, inclusive, and hopeful spaces for Indonesian children to grow into resilient, independent successors of the nation, for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

Featured as speaker in the workshop was Hana Maulida, the 2024 SATU Indonesia Awards recipient in the Education category. Her goal for the event was to educate children on boosting self-confidence and understanding the true essence of inclusivity through storytelling and educational songs.

During her session, Hana also introduced children’s rights and discussed how to stay safe both in real life and online. This activity aimed to encourage active participation among children in shaping a safe, equal, inclusive, and child-friendly environment as part of building the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

Astra’s commitment to supporting the government’s efforts in building a child-friendly and inclusive Indonesia aligns with its mission to prosper with the nation and contributes to achieving Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
