JAKARTAAstra, together with the Astra Group’s Automotive & Mobility business line, Astra Otoparts, supported the Investor Daily Summit 2025 held on October 8–9, 2025. Astra Otoparts participated in a panel discussion titled “National Pride Through Local Product: Strengthening National Identity.”

In the panel discussion held today (October 9), Ronny Kusgianta, Director of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk, was present. Astra Otoparts described the company’s long journey in building local industry strength through three main pillars: product innovation, collaboration, and technological self-reliance.

“Forums like the Investor Daily Summit bring together various stakeholders to jointly build a resilient and competitive future economy for Indonesia. For Astra, national pride is not merely about local products, but about how the work of the people of our nation can meet society’s needs while raising Indonesia’s name on the global stage,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

At the Investor Daily Summit 2025, Astra also showcased several Astra Otoparts products, including a Public Electric Vehicle Charging Station (SPKLU) under the brand Astra Otopower, and medical devices such as a 4D ultrasound, cardiac ECG, and a column scale with digital height measurement, a digital scale that measures both weight and height.

Since 2020, Astra Otoparts, through PT Astra Komponen Indonesia (ASKI), has developed 33 high-tech medical device products created by Indonesians under the GRIN brand. These products have a local content level (TKDN) ranging from 40 to 59 percent, incorporate artificial intelligence for medical image processing, and have been used in more than 70,000 community health centers (puskesmas) and 70 hospitals across Indonesia.

Additionally, Astra presented coffee sourced from local farmers supported by the Desa Sejahtera Astra program, marketed under the shared identity Kopi Legenda, and an interactive play area that served as an educational space showcasing products made by Astra-supported communities with a sustainable supply chain concept.

Astra’s commitment to strengthening the role of local products for today and the future of Indonesia aligns with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation and supports Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals.
