Astra Returns to the Indonesia Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka

OSAKA, JAPAN: Astra once again took part in the Indonesia Pavilion at the World Expo 2025 Osaka, Japan, on Saturday (September 20). This participation reaffirms Astra’s consistent support for Indonesia’s presence at this global exhibition, which carries the theme “Thriving in Harmony: Nature, Culture, Future.” On the same day, the Indonesia Pavilion was also included in the official agenda of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, during his visit to Osaka.

Astra Director Gita Tiffani Boer, together with Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto, also visited the Indonesia Pavilion as a demonstration of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the event, which showcases innovation, culture, and economic potential from countries around the world.

“For Astra, returning to the Indonesia Pavilion at World Expo 2025 Osaka reflects our long-term commitment to supporting Indonesia’s role on the global stage. We hope that the diverse cultures, creations, and innovations of our nation displayed here will gain greater recognition, while also opening broader opportunities for collaboration to support Indonesia’s sustainable development,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

Previously, Astra had also attended the World Expo 2025 Osaka during the inauguration of the Indonesia Pavilion in April 2025, as well as during the celebration of Indonesia’s National Day at the Pavilion in May 2025.

Astra’s participation in the World Expo 2025 Osaka continues its long-standing commitment to supporting Indonesia’s involvement in the World Expo, which began with Expo 2010 in Shanghai, followed by Expo 2015 in Milan, and Expo 2020 in Dubai.

This spirit aligns with Astra’s mission to Prosper with the Nation and supports the achievement of Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
