Astra Realizes the Contribution of Astra Women to Inspire the Nation

JAKARTA: Astra is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive work environment as part of its Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations. This commitment is reflected in the presence of women in strategic positions within the Astra Group, with 33 women serving as Directors in 2024—equivalent to 17.35% of the total Board of Directors—and underscores that women’s leadership has become an integral part of Astra’s growth and sustainability.

As a tangible expression of this commitment, Astra has launched various initiatives supporting the role of women, one of which is the Astra Women Community (Komunitas Perempuan Astra). This platform is designed to foster capacity development, strengthen networks, and serve as a support system for women across the Astra Group ecosystem.

The Astra Women Community also actively showcases its role and contributions in various forums. Last Saturday (September 27), Astra Community took part in the Inspirational Talk of Astra Women at the Women on the Move 2025 event organized by Bloomberg Technoz in Bali. Rina Apriana, Chair of Astra Women and CEO of AstraPay, introduced the Astra Women Community as a support system within the organization’s ecosystem to achieve work-life balance and employee well-being, support career development, and drive social contributions that positively impact surrounding communities.

In addition, as a concrete demonstration of women’s leadership empowerment, several female leaders from the Astra Group shared updates on the Group’s business developments during Astra Media Day 2025, held on September 23. The speakers included Astra Otoparts Director Sophie Handili, United Tractors Finance Director Vilihati Surya, Astra Agro Director Tingning, and Astragraphia Director Trivena Nalsalita, who discussed business performance and the Astra Group’s journey in supporting economic growth and national progress.

Astra’s dedication to diversity and inclusivity through the Astra Women Community, for today and the future of Indonesia, aligns with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation and supports Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
