BANDUNG, WEST JAVA: As part of its ongoing commitment to advancing education and cross-sector collaboration, Astra is participating in the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI), held today (August 7) by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).

KSTI 2025 serves as a strategic forum bringing together scientists, government officials, industry players, the public, media, and other stakeholders. This event marks a crucial moment in shaping the national research roadmap, focusing on eight priority industry sectors: food, energy, defense, health digitalization (including artificial intelligence and semiconductors), downstreaming and industrialization, maritime affairs, and advanced manufacturing and materials.

“Astra’s participation in this event reflects our commitment to supporting Indonesia’s sustainable development agenda. We believe that cross-sector collaboration is a key foundation for driving inclusive and sustainable growth, and for creating a positive impact for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

Under the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity”, Astra showcases its support for national resilience in the health sector through independently and locally developed medical technology innovations.

Astra, through PT Astra Komponen Indonesia—a subsidiary of PT Astra Otoparts Tbk—has developed several flagship medical devices, including: blood pressure measuring devices, blood pressure monitors, height and weight measuring devices, digital scales, and 4D ultrasound machines.

Additionally, Astra presents an anesthesia pendant produced by an MSME supported by the Astra Foundation, specifically the Dharma Bhakti Astra Foundation, which focuses on MSME development.

Astra also highlights its social contributions and sustainability initiatives in the renewable energy sector, featuring solar panels from PT Energia Prima Nusantara (EPN), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk. Through Astra Financial, the company also introduces Astrapay and Bank Saqu, which are actively supporting the convention.

Moreover, as part of its commitment to developing rural potential through the enhancement of the quality, added value, and competitiveness of Indonesian local coffee, Astra presents Kopi Legenda Astra—a collaborative product from Desa Sejahtera Astra and Kampung Berseri Astra—at this exhibition, which runs until August 9, 2025.

Astra’s spirit in participating and supporting the 2025 Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) is in line with its mission to prosper with the nation, while also contributing to Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
