JAKARTA: Applause and an atmosphere of enthusiasm filled the William Soeryadjaya Hall at the AMDI A Building in Jakarta on Tuesday, June 25, marking the official launch of Astra Festival 2025. This year’s edition opens with a renewed energy through one of its key events, Gelora Insan Astra 2025.
Astra Festival is a continuous initiative aimed at fostering a supportive, inclusive, and inspiring work environment for all Astra Group employees. The 2025 festival features several programs, including Gelora Insan Astra, Harmoni Kontribusi Astra, and the closing event in collaboration with Semesta Berpesta.
Gelora Insan Astra serves as a collaborative platform designed to strengthen synergy and camaraderie among Astra Group employees through a range of competitions—from sports and e-sports to the arts. Conducted in a hybrid format, the program ensures broad participation from employees across the nation.
“Gelora Insan Astra is part of the 2025 Astra Festival event series. It reflects our renewed commitment to fostering collaboration and synergy across Astra Group. The program is delivered with an innovative and creative approach that resonates with today’s era, while continuing to uphold the sense of kinship that defines Astra’s identity,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Human Capital Development Aloysius Budi Santoso.
This year, a total of 2,446 employees have registered to participate in 18 competition categories. The three main programs under Gelora Insan Astra—the Healthy Life Challenge, sports competitions, and arts competitions—are designed to promote healthy lifestyles, creative expression, and robust connections between employees from various Astra Group companies.
Through the Healthy Life Challenge, Astra encourages employees to maintain physical well-being while contributing to social good. For every activity point earned, a donation of Rp500 will be allocated toward providing supplemental nutrition for children in seven targeted regions: Denpasar, Rote, Belitung, Sijunjung, Kupang, Sukabumi, and Sulawesi. The primary objective is to reduce stunting prevalence and improve community health outcomes.
In support of environmental and health initiatives, Astra also invites employees to participate actively in the Astra Colleague Volunteering Program (CVP). In collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the program implements the “Clean Tourism Movement”, encouraging Astra employees to contribute through volunteer work in Kampung Berseri Astra Pramuka Island.
Gelora Insan Astra 2025 will run through August 10, 2025, concluding alongside Harmoni Kontribusi Astra and the grand finale of the 2025 Astra Festival event series, Semesta Berpesta, with a strong message of collaboration, contribution, and sustainability.
Astra’s commitment to employee well-being and sustainable social impact is in line with its mission to Prosper with the Nation and in support of Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
