Astra Collaborates with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services to Strengthen Astra Group's Digital Ecosystem

JAKARTA: Astra held a signing ceremony for two cooperation agreements, namely with Google Cloud Platform through Datalabs and with Amazon Web Services today (7/11). This collaboration aims to explore new technological developments in strengthening Astra's digital ecosystem through various digital initiatives implemented in Astra Group.

Also attending the ceremony which took place at Menara Astra, Jakarta were Astra Director Santosa, Country Manager, Enterprise, and Public Sector Google Cloud Indonesia Anang Efendy, President Director of PT Data Labs Analytics Mendi Susanto and Head of Enterprise Amazon Web Series Indonesia Fanly Tanto.

"The cooperation signed today with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services aims to strengthen the digital ecosystem in Astra Group, after Astra has also previously collaborated with Microsoft Azure. With this latest collaboration, Astra Group will get access to the best technology in the market, as well as access to services on Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services. Thus, Astra Group can provide the best service for all Astra’s customers," said Astra's Chief of Group Digital Strategy Paul Soegianto.

The collaboration with Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services includes multi-cloud provisioning, artificial intelligence and machine learning exploration, data democratisation (data centralisation & data security), power usage optimisation and environmentally friendly computing for sustainability innovation, as well as the development of Astra employees in Google Cloud Platform and Amazon Web Services technology training.

Through collaboration with Google Cloud Platform, Astra gets access to the latest technology from Google and can also utilise other Google ecosystems such as Google Ads, YouTube, Google Search, and Maps to gain insights according to the needs of Astra Group.
