JAKARTA: The Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk Indonesia Awards, better known as SATU Indonesia Awards, returns with renewed purpose. Beyond discovering inspirational young Indonesians, the program is committed to ensuring that every initiative born from it remains connected, continues to grow, and delivers a meaningful, far-reaching impact for the community.

The 17th SATU Indonesia Awards officially got underway with a kick-off event held on Wednesday (1/4), marking the start of the selection process to identify more young Indonesians whose initiatives and contributions are making a real difference. The kick-off also served as the platform to introduce "Connected in Action"; the official theme of the 17th SATU Indonesia Awards 2026.

"Through this theme, Astra wants to convey that the spirit of care among young people must be channeled into genuine collaboration and concrete action in order to create broader impact. We encourage every initiative to move beyond the ideation stage; to be developed and implemented sustainably, reaching communities even in the most remote villages. Because ultimately, lasting change comes from actions that are interconnected and strengthened together, for Indonesia today and in the future," said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Boy Kelana Soebroto.

This year, Astra is deepening the integration between two of its flagship social contribution programs: SATU Indonesia Awards and Desa Sejahtera Astra (Astra Prosperous Village). To date, SATU Indonesia Awards has produced 792 inspiring young changemakers contributing across the fields of Health, Education, Environment, Entrepreneurship, and Technology. Meanwhile, Desa Sejahtera Astra has developed 1,533 villages across 35 provinces throughout Indonesia.

Through this collaboration, Astra is encouraging SATU Indonesia Awards recipients to serve as local champions in supporting the development of Desa Sejahtera Astra, ensuring that the initiatives driven by these agents of change deliver broader and more sustainable social impact for communities across the country.
