JAKARTA: Demonstrating its commitment and dedication to recognizing and supporting the contributions of Indonesia's young generation, Astra is organizing the Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk (SATU) Indonesia Awards for the sixteenth consecutive year. The kickoff event for the 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025 was held today (February 28) at Menara Astra, Jakarta.
With the theme "Uniting Efforts, Creating Impact", the 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025 officially launched today, aiming to identify and recognize young individuals who have positively impacted their communities in the fields of Health, Education, Environment, Entrepreneurship, and Technology across Indonesia. The submission period is open from February 28, 2025, to July 28, 2025.
"Astra believes that the youth are the main drivers of the necessary changes in our society. With the theme 'Uniting Efforts, Creating Impact' for this year's SATU Indonesia Awards, Astra is committed to supporting young people who are brave enough to innovate and contribute in various sectors. Astra aims to create a space for every individual to inspire and collaborate, uniting efforts to achieve a greater impact. With the spirit of mutual cooperation, we can fulfill our hopes and lay the foundation for a better future for our nation today and for the future of Indonesia," said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.
At today's kickoff event of the 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025, Astra also held an inspiring AstraTalks session featuring notable speakers, including 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025 judge Dian Sastrowardoyo, 15th SATU Indonesia Awards 2024 Technology recipient Irfan Y. Pratama, and Astra Head of Brand Communications Yudha Prasetya. The speakers shared their inspiring experiences in making real changes for their communities and interesting stories from the SATU Indonesia Awards selection process, as well as Astra's efforts in supporting and facilitating youth initiatives. This discussion aims to inspire more young people to actively contribute to building a better Indonesia.
Astra has partnered with Tempo, Antara, Kumparan, IDN Times, and Young On Top to reach out to the nation's inspiring youth. In 2024, the SATU Indonesia Awards received 16,775 applicants, marking an 11.8% increase compared to 2023.

Eligibility and Terms for the 16th SATU Indonesia Awards 2025:
1. The program must be initiated by an individual or a group.
2. The initiator or group leader must be a maximum of 35 years old at the time of registration.
3. The initiator or group leader (one person) will represent the activity and cannot be replaced.
4. The activity must be original.
5. The activity/program must not be affiliated with any company, foundation, or institution.
6. The activity must have been running for a minimum of one year.
7. The activity must not have received assistance from the Astra Group.
8. The activity must not have received any national or international awards.
9. The activity must align with sustainability aspects, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
10. The applicant must not be an employee of the Astra Group or SATU Indonesia Awards partners.
11. Self-nominations or nominations of others who meet the SATU Indonesia Awards criteria are allowed.
Recipients of the SATU Indonesia Awards will each receive a grant of Rp65 million, along with assistance and the opportunity to collaborate with Kampung Berseri Astra or Desa Sejahtera Astra.
