SUMBA, NTT: As the end of the registration period for the 15th Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk (SATU) Indonesia Awards 2024 approaches, Astra visits Sumba Island, East Nusa Tenggara, to attract the nation’s inspiring youth to participate in SATU Indonesia Awards. Known as the Land of a Thousand Hills, this island marks the final destination of this year’s SATU Indonesia Awards roadshow, following previous events in Bengkulu, Kendari, and Samarinda.
The 15th SATU Indonesia Awards 2024 roadshow in Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, presented “Astratalk: ‘Together, Create, Sustainable’ Inspirational Talk” held at the MPL Building in Waingapu on Saturday morning, July 20. The inspirational talk featured speakers Raline Shah, a guest judge for the 15th SATU Indonesia Awards 2024 and artist, and Theresia Dwiaudina Sari Putri, the 14th SATU Indonesia Awards 2023 recipient in the Health category.
East Sumba Regent Khristofel Praing also attended the event and expressed his hopes for all the young people of Sumba, East Nusa Tenggara, in his speech, along with representatives from Astra Group East Nusa Tenggara Region.
“Our deep gratitude and appreciation to Astra for choosing East Sumba as one of SATU Indonesia Awards roadshow destinations. We hope to see more participants from East Sumba and the surrounding areas. To the young generation, compete fairly, and best of luck in every opportunity you encounter,” said Khristofel Praing.
“Astra calls on the nation’s youth to boldly seize opportunities “together, create, and sustainable”, with a spirit of progress and inspiration. SATU Indonesia Awards aim to resonate further, motivating the youth to benefit those around them and contribute to creating a better life for today and the future of Indonesia,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.
In front of approximately 1,000 attendees at the inspirational talk, the SATU Indonesia Awards judge and Theresia Dwiaudina Sari Putri, the 14th SATU Indonesia Awards 2023 recipient in the Health category, shared motivating and inspiring experiences and stories.
“Enjoy the process of the positive activities you are engaged in now. Never stop dreaming, maintain your determination and intention, and never lose hope,” advised Raline.
“Even a small act in a small place, if done with good intentions, will certainly benefit others. The most important thing is to prepare ourselves, not be afraid to keep learning, and stay focused on what we do. Believe that what we sow is what we will reap,” said Theresia.
Each SATU Indonesia Awards recipient will receive an activity grant of Rp65 million and assistance. They will also have the opportunity to collaborate in Kampung Berseri Astra or Desa Sejahtera Astra programs.
