Jakarta: To celebrate the 15-year journey of the Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk (SATU) Indonesia Awards, which consistently honors the contributions of young people committed to creating a more sustainable future, Astra is showcasing a diverse collection of artwork by Indonesian artists in the 15th SATU Indonesia Awards 2024 Exhibition “Together, Create, Sustainable” at Galeri Astra, Menara Astra, Jakarta, from today, October 22, until October 28.
The exhibition presents a kaleidoscopic journey through the contributions of SATU Indonesia Awards recipients over the years, interpreted artistically by artists such as Rebellionik, Ryan Geraldin, Tab Space Design Studio, The Babybirds, and Arafura Media Design.
“The 15th SATU Indonesia Awards 2024 Exhibition draws inspiration from the contributions made by SATU Indonesia Awards recipients in the fields of Health, Education, Environment, Entrepreneurship, and Technology, which have transformed the lives of many Indonesians. These contributions are translated into art installations through unique collaborations with Indonesian artists from diverse backgrounds, each showcasing their iconic styles,” said Astra Chief of Corporate Affairs Riza Deliansyah.
The exhibition features five zones, each corresponding to the contributions of SATU Indonesia Awards recipients in the five fields, as well as an interactive corner for creating eco-friendly works in collaboration with PLAYO. All art installations are curated in partnership with the Indonesian Contemporary Art and Design (ICAD).
Additionally, the exhibition includes the “Pasar Karya” market, which features products from SATU Indonesia Awards recipients, Astra merchandise by Cenderamata Astra, artworks, and culinary booths. Meanwhile, the “Arena Kreasi” section hosts workshops brought by SATU Indonesia Awards recipients and artists, inviting participants to explore different art forms. The public is invited to view the artworks and participate in the workshops free of charge by registering at www.astra.co.id.
Astra’s commitment to continuously support and appreciate the active role of young generations in contributing to society and the environment is in line with Astra’s mission to prosper with the nation while supporting Indonesia’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
