PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) was established by Astra and Honda Motor Co. as a company that manages the production and marketing activities of Honda motorcycles in Indonesia, and serves as a global player for several export destination countries. Astra also owns Honda Sales Operation (HSO), which functions as one of AHM's main dealers for motorcycle and spare parts sales, as well as after-sales services for Honda motorcycles.

Building on this trust, AHM consistently innovates in products and technology across its lineup of motorcycles marketed in the Matic, Cub, Sport, Big Bike segments, and even electric motorcycles, as part of its efforts to achieve carbon neutrality in the future.

Production Facilities

AHM’s aspiration to fulfill the dreams of Honda motorcycle customers is achieved through its competitive advantage in managing a production capacity of 5.8 million units per year, supported by more than 25,000 skilled workers to meet both domestic and global markets. AHM currently operates 6 factories that highlight production strength based on smart manufacturing technology and superior structure supported by hundreds of its supplier networks. The production strategy relies on the application of the latest automotive technology and automation, driving continuous process improvement, innovation, and added value.

Marketing and Sales Network

AHM strives to continuously improve services in its sales and after-sales network, which spans 29 main dealers and more than 1,707 dealers, including 144 Wing dealers and 11 Big Wing dealers. AHM is also committed to the electrification era through Honda e: Shops, which are gradually being opened up to more than 1,200 dealer networks throughout Indonesia.

For after-sales service needs, there are more than 3,725 maintenance networks through Honda motorcycle workshops known as "AHASS" (Astra Honda Authorized Service Station) and over 8,476 official spare parts networks with extensive coverage. Efforts to accompany a pleasant riding experience for customers are strengthened by the availability of the Emergency Road Assistant (ERA) emergency response service and a 24-hour Contact Center Service via 1-500-989.

Sustainable Commitment

In an effort to achieve carbon neutrality in Indonesia, AHM realizes this in its production processes, company facilities, and various Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG) programs. In producing Honda motorcycles, AHM introduces the latest technology for a more efficient and environmentally friendly production process by applying smart factories, flexible and green buildings. Efforts in sustainable energy management are implemented through the installation of 18,270 solar panel modules on the roofs of AHM's factory buildings. Additionally, AHM implements water recycling in the company environment through the construction of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for managing domestic wastewater to be recycled and reused to support employee activities and motorcycle production processes.

Not only within the company environment, but AHM also collaborates with various parties in environmental management, community empowerment, and good corporate governance through the implementation of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
