UT Karya Bakti Foundation and Kanitra Groups Held a Blood Donation

In commemoration of its 16th anniversary, UT Karya Bakti Foundation (YKBUT) initiated the YKBUT Sharing program as a manifestation of compassion towards humanity and a contribution to society.

One of the activities under the YKBUT Sharing program is a blood donation event. Together with Kanitra Groups and the Indonesian Red Cross, YKBUT organized a blood donation event at the YKBUT Building in Cakung, Jakarta, on February 7, 2024. The event was attended by employees from the Cakung Industrial Development Center (Pusat Pengembangan Industri or PPI).

Donors who wished to participate had to register beforehand and undergo a physical examination. If the medical team deemed the donor's physical condition suitable, the participant could then undergo the donation process for 30-60 minutes, depending on the speed of blood collection and the condition of each donor. After completion, participants were given a donor card and souvenir as a token of appreciation from YKBUT.

A total of 160 blood bags were collected from this activity. YKBUT hopes that this activity can raise awareness among employees about the importance of blood donation for health, while also benefiting individuals in the community who require blood assistance.
