Turangga Resources Wins Three Prasetya Ahimsa Awards from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources for Excellent Mine Safety Management

Jakarta, October 25, 2024 – Turangga Resources has won three prestigious Prasetya Ahimsa awards from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) for its achievements in managing the safety of mineral and coal mining operations. The award ceremony took place at the Trans Luxury Hotel in Bandung on October 25, 2024. The awards were presented to three subsidiaries of Turangga Resources: PT Asmin Bara Bronang (ABB), PT Suprabari Mapanindo Mineral (SMM), and PT Telen Orbit Prima (TOP), all of which were recognized for meeting high standards in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management.

The three main criteria that led Turangga Resources to receive these awards are:

• Effective HSE Management System,
• Zero Fatalities in mining operations,
• Discipline in Reporting and HSE Administration.

In addition to these core criteria, the companies were also evaluated based on investments in safety infrastructure, worker competency training, and full support from Mine Technical Heads to ensure safety at every operational level. This approach is expected to improve worker safety, health, and operational efficiency.

Prasetya means a promise, while Ahimsa means non-violence. Philosophically, this award reflects the company’s full commitment to adhering to regulations, implementing mining safety programs, and ensuring safe operations and healthy, protected workers.
