TRAC Offers Electric Car Rental Service for Samosir Tourists

TRAC is collaborating with Toyota to provide an electric car rental service for domestic and foreign tourists who want to get around Lake Toba and Samosir Island, starting from Rp88,000. Offered with or without driver, this electric car rental will not only make it easier for tourists to visit different destinations, but also as a support of the government’s efforts to make electric vehicles popular among the wider community and create an environmentally friendly tourism destination.

To indulge its customers, TRAC offers 2 types of EV (electric vehicle), the 2 seater Toyota C+Pod and the 4 seater Toyota Prius PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle). For easy booking, customers can access the ‘experience’ menu in the TRACtoGo Application or come directly to the main electricity charging station located in Lekjon and Lingkar Tuktuk at Samosir.
