SANF Plants 1,000 Mangroves in Semarang

Mangroves help prevent abrasion and global warming, and can improve the quality of local ecosystems and marine life as a whole. Motivated by their concern to the environment and as an implementation of the Astra Sustainability Aspirations, PT Surya Artha Nusantara Finance (SANF) launched the “SANF Protects the Earth” campaign for mangrove conservation.

On August 5, SANF went to the Tambakrejo Coast in North Semarang to plant 1,000 mangrove trees. Representing SANF were Human Capital Department Head of SANF Theresia Nayuti, Corporate Strategy & Communication Department Head Irvan Nusantara Lubis, and supported by the HCGS team and Corporate Communication and Business Operation Semarang. The activity was also assisted by two forest and mangrove conservation organizations, Organisasi Lindungi Hutan and Kelompok Peduli Alam Mangrove Semarang.
