PTAR Affirms Commitment to Gender Diversity at W20 Summit in Lake Toba

PT Agincourt Resources (PTAR), operator of the Martabe Gold Mine, participated in the Women 20 (W20) Summit held from July 18 to 21, 2022, in Parapat, Lake Toba, North Sumatra.General Manager Operations of PTAR Rahmat Lubis said that since 2016, PTA has adopted a Gender Diversity Policy that applies to all aspects of the company’s operations.

“We build a culture and work environment that promotes dignity and respect, a workplace free of discrimination, intimidation, bullying or harassment,” said Rahmat.PTAR has also developed a number of policies, including maternity and paternity leave policy, a code of practice for the management on pregnancy-related work restrictions, and a lactation policy that includes the provision of facilities for mothers to express and safely store breastmilk.
