Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Astra), also known as ASTRAtech, is a higher vocational education institution under the Astra Foundation – Yayasan Astra Bina Ilmu, one of the nine foundations affiliated with Astra.
Yayasan Astra Bina Ilmu ensures that ASTRAtech maintains its distinct strengths and advantages by involving executives from Astra Group companies on the foundation's board. It helps bridge industry needs with vocational education through a strong "link and match" approach.
Astra Polytechnic operates with the following vision and mission:
Astra Polytechnic was established in 1995 in Jakarta by PT Federal Motor, now known as PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM), under the name Akademik Teknik Federal.
At the time, the institution operated under the Yayasan Federal Bina Ilmu. In 2001, it was officially renamed Astra Manufacturing Polytechnic (Polman Astra).
Later, on April 21, 2021, the institution rebranded as Astra Polytechnic with the brand name ASTRAtech.
Currently, ASTRAtech offers six Diploma 3 (D3) programs and three Applied Bachelor's (D4) programs, including:
1. Heavy Equipment Maintenance Engineering (D4)
2. Logistics Engineering (D4)
3. Software Engineering Technology (D4)
4. Production Tooling Engineering (D3)
5. Manufacturing Production and Process Engineering (D3)
6. Building Construction Technology (D3)
7. Automotive Engineering (D3)
8. Mechatronics (D3)
