Fighting Semarang’s Coastal Abrasion, SERA Plants 1,500 Mangrove Trees

A total of 1,500 Rhizophora mangrove seedlings were planted at the Semarang Mangrove Center in Mangunharjo, Semarang, Central Java, on August 24, 2022. The planting was initiated by PT Serasi Autoraya (SERA) and was led by Head of the TRAC Central Java–Yogyakarta Branch Hengky Setiawan. Other SERA group’s business lines in Semarang including TRAC, mobil88 IBID, and Selog Semarang, were also present.

Mangrove planting is part of SERA’s sustainable social contribution to support goals 13 and 15 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). “We’re aligned with goal 13 on climate action and goal 15, life on land,\ said Hengky.
