In April 2026, AstraWorld conducted driving safety education sessions for students in two cities. The first session, held in Semarang in partnership with BMW Astra Semarang, included participants from State Vocational High School (SMKN) 2 Cilacap, Central Java.
The second session took place at Walang Jaya Vocational High School (SMK) in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta. Involving dozens of students from both schools, these sessions supported National Education Day on May 2, the Indonesia Ayo Aman Berlalu Lintas (IAABL) movement, and AstraWorld's commitment to educational social responsibility.

In Semarang, Heny Nuruliati, Head of AstraWorld Central Java Regional Office, opened the event. In Jakarta, Gracia Gloria Merpati, Head of AstraWorld Jabodetabek Regional Office, and Gatot Edi Sabekti, Principal of Walang Jaya Vocational High School, delivered opening remarks.
Gatot Edi Sabekti commended AstraWorld for providing students with essential knowledge beyond the classroom, emphasizing that driving safety education is increasingly necessary as more students use vehicles.
AstraWorld engaged two IAABL Master Trainers in each region to guide students through the fundamentals of driving safety, including the importance of proper gear and road etiquette.
The sessions also included hands-on practice, allowing students to gain direct experience in safe driving preparation for both cars and motorcycles, from vehicle checks to correct riding and driving posture.
AstraWorld aims to instill safe driving habits early and encourage students to become more responsible road users. The company will continue expanding driving safety education to other locations, including Medan, Palembang, Surabaya, Bandung, Bali, and Kalimantan.
These initiatives will continue through the end of 2026 as AstraWorld's tangible contribution to reducing traffic accidents in Indonesia, helping every road user feel truly #TenangdiJalan (at ease on the road).
