JAKARTA (15/2): Daihatsu in Indonesia officially introduced newest generation of LCGC (Low Cost Green Car) Hatchback model with total model changes, All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla on February 15th, 2023 in Senayan, Jakarta. 

With the theme of Senantiasa Hadir Untuk Indonesia, Astra Daihatsu Ayla as LCGC pioneer car has been launched about a decade in Indonesia since 2013, and has been trusted by more than 268 thousand customers in Indonesia. This proves positive response to customer acceptance in Indonesia for LCGC cars. 

To continue to answer mobility needs in line with technological developments, trends and various customer needs, All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla comes with a new platform, stylish design, excellent performance, more complete safety and comfort features.

President Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, Yasushi Kyoda said, Daihatsu in Indonesia has the main strategy ‘By Indonesian, For Indonesian’, so that Daihatsu always tries to develop products according to Indonesia customers needs.

In accordance with tagline 'Exciting Entry Hatchback', All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is now equipped with new platform based on DNGA (Daihatsu New Global Architecture), so that it has various advantages such as: the latest technology, high quality, affordable prices, and more efficiency. The All New Ayla is also Daihatsu's third DNGA model in Indonesia after Rocky and Xenia were launched in 2021. 

All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla exterior looks powerful and aggressive, coupled with a new 14' inch alloy wheel design, and the latest features such as LED Headlamps to make All New Ayla appearance looks more modern and aerodynamic. For interior, All New Ayla also looks sporty with an advanced feeling mode giving a human-oriented and fun-to-drive driving sensation, plus a wider cabin and luggage area to make driving activities more comfortable. 

For the performance, All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is now equipped with 2 new engine options, 1.2L WA-VE and 1.0L VVT-i which are ready to provide responsive acceleration. All New Ayla is also equipped with a D-CVT (Dual Mode Continuously Variable Transmission) transmission, making vehicle acceleration smoother and fuel more efficient. 

All New Astra Daihatsu Ayla is equipped with the latest safety technology, such as Dual SRS Airbags, Safety Seat Belt Reminder for the driver and passengers, HSA (Hill Start Assist) which functions to prevent car from moving backwards when in uphill condition, and VSC (Vehicle Stability) Control) which functions to maintain vehicle stability while driving by detecting and preventing slipping of car tires (oversteer and understeer) in turning areas. 

In terms of comfort, All New Ayla is also equipped with a Push Start Engine which makes it easier for users when driving,
