Astra Isuzu Presents Breast Cancer Prevention Talk Show

Astra Isuzu demonstrated its commitment to sustainability and social responsibility by organizing the Sayangi Diri event in collaboration with Lovepink, focusing on health awareness, particularly breast cancer.

Held at the Astra Isuzu Ballroom in Jakarta on August 9, 2024, the event partnered with the Yayasan Daya Dara Indonesia (Lovepink) and featured members of the breast cancer warriors and survivors community. Attendees also included representatives from Kampung Berseri Astra (KBA) Rawasari, one of Astra Isuzu's supported communities.

The event featured an educational talk show themed “Sadari dan Kenali: Early Detection of Breast Cancer,” aiming to raise awareness about breast cancer risks and prevention. The speakers included dr. Patsy S. Djatikusumo, Sp.GK, Chris Wicaksana from Lovepink, and Dwini Handayani, a breast cancer survivor.

The talk show covered the importance of performing monthly breast self-examinations (Sadari) and annual clinical breast exams (Sadanis), breast cancer facts, risk factors, and prevention and management steps.

Catharina B. Dharmastuti, Astra Isuzu's Head of Marketing Development and Digitalization, emphasized that the event is part of Astra's Astra Sehat sustainability initiative. “We believe that health is the most valuable asset, and we strive to contribute positively through various health initiatives, including supporting this talk show,” she explained.
