PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM) held the 17th Astra Honda Safety Riding Instructors Competition (AHSRIC) 2026 to assess and enhance the skills of Honda's safety riding instructors and advisors. The event took place from August 4 to 7, 2026, at the Astra Honda Motor Safety Riding Park in Deltamas, Cikarang.

With the theme "Beyond Seventeen, The Change Makers," AHSRIC 2026 encouraged participants to become agents of change by educating the public on road safety. The competition evaluated both technical skills and participants' ability to communicate safety education and identify potential road hazards.

This year's assessment system incorporates new parameters based on internal research into trends in road safety behavior. Educational initiatives have also expanded to include traffic safety for children.

The regional selection process included 120 safety riding instructors, 2,690 safety riding advisors from Honda's dealer network, and 916 Honda community advisors. This process identified the top 209 participants to compete at the national level.

AHM's Commitment to Training Road Safety Change Makers

"We continue to develop AHSRIC as part of our commitment to improving road safety education in Indonesia. This event is not only a competition but also a platform for building riding skills and developing safety role models nationwide. These individuals are agents of change who promote the values of #Cari_Aman to millions of Indonesians," said Andy Wijaya, General Manager of Marketing Planning and Analysis at AHM.

AHM's safety education efforts are backed by 9 Honda Safety Riding Centers and the AHM Safety Riding Park, Southeast Asia's largest riding safety training center, which is also open to the general public.

Since 2017, #Cari_Aman has served as the umbrella for AHM's riding safety programs, supported by 6 Safety Riding Labs and partnerships with 38 fostered schools to instill a culture of safe, comfortable, and enjoyable riding from an early age.
