The company has a new sustainability framework that contains Astra 2030 Sustainability Aspirations to guide Astra Group’s transition journey to be a more sustainable business by 2030 and beyond. Astra wishes to contribute to strengthening the resilience of the Indonesian economy that supports an inclusive and prosperous society.

Astra’s sustainable social contribution initiatives focus on empowering and strengthening communities through the Desa Sejahtera Astra program, which has reached more than 1,500 villages across 35 provinces throughout Indonesia.

The Desa Sejahtera Astra program is built upon four key pillars: health, education, environment, and entrepreneurship. These efforts are further supported by nine Astra foundations that contribute to Indonesia’s economic growth while fostering inclusive and prosperous communities.

In line with the Desa Sejahtera Astra program, the Semangat Astra Terpadu Untuk (SATU) Indonesia Awards was established to recognize outstanding young innovators, Desa Sejahtera Astra, and exemplary village leaders nurtured by Astra. Since its launch in 2010, the SATU Indonesia Awards has recognized 792 Indonesian youths who actively collaborate with Desa Sejahtera Astra in driving positive social impact and community development.
