Annual Report 2004
2004 was a more eventful year than expected. The economy improved despite relatively low levels of direct investment. Interest rates hit historic lows and the Jakarta Stock Exchange index reached new highs. Indonesia made international news for a successful direct Presidential election and sadly, for the devastating aftermath of an earthquake and tsunami.
