Astra manufactures and distributes Honda motorcycles through PT Astra Honda Motor (AHM). This company is a  50:50 joint venture between PT Astra International Tbk and Honda Motor Company Ltd. AHM is the licensee and sole distributor of Honda motorcycles and parts in Indonesia. AHM manufacturing facilities have a total production capacity of 3 million units per year, supported by parts centers, training centers, and tooling and die manufacturing facilities.

As the sole distributor of Honda motorcycles in Indonesia, AHM manages 29 sales areas, of which 11 areas are under the Honda Sales Operation (HSO) division of PT Astra International Tbk, namely Jakarta, Central Java, Yogyakarta, Bali, West Nusa Tenggara, South Sumatera, Bengkulu, West Kalimantan, Balikpapan, South and Southeast Sulawesi, and Papua.
